Two-Day Class: 1:00 – 3:30 P.M.
In this two-day consecutive
class, students will learn the more comprehensive protocol, to social
and dining etiquette, including:
How to Make a Good First Impression,
Dining Skills, Table Manners, Making Others Feel Comfortable, Proper
Greetings and Introductions, Correct Handshake, Good Eye Contact, How
to Approach the Table, Setting a Correct Table, Napkin Uses, Table Rules,
Navigating the Place Setting, Proper Handling of Utensils, Passing Foods,
Eating Difficult Foods, Handling an Accidents, Two Styles of Dining,
American and Continental, Silent Service Code, Appropriate Conversations,
Being a Good Dinner Guest/Host and How to Write a Proper Thank You Note.

This workshop focuses on the Business
Social environment. Business occurs in a variety of social setting: A power
breakfast, business lunch, business dinner, client's or boss' home, mixers,
charity events, etc. Building successful relationships reflects self-confidence
and knowing how to create a positive image of yourself and your company.
Increase your potential for success with these important dining and social
skills. Topics include: How to Meet and Greet people – Navigate the Networking
Place – Business Entertaining – Host/Hostess and Guest Duties - The Place
Setting – Silverware Savvy – The Silent Service Code – Table Manners – Difficult
to Eat Foods – American and Continental Styles of Eating – Proper Handling
of Utensils - Toasting.
